We are are ideally located at the very heart of the North York Moors National Park, with fine views of village life, fields and moorland. From the moment you arrive and step through our doors, you will be welcomed by our friendly family of staff, who dedicate themselves to ensuring the highest level of detail in their hospitality and customer service, all to ensure your plans go ahead smoothly and stress free.
There are a number of spaces and rooms for you to choose from, suitable for gatherings of varying sizes and styles. Our warm and cosy dining room is the perfect setting for a catch up with friends or family. Alternatively our charming and spacious hotel lounge and hydro bar is the perfect place to host parties and other celebratory events.
If you are looking to host an exclusive event then look no further. Our Mill Green Conservatory provides the ultimate location for any function. It is ideally situated to host a private function with easy access to the Hydro Bar.

An interesting and varied menu with lots of homemade food. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff were fabulous, professional, warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and nicely presented. It’s a pity we don’t live locally or we’d be in here often.
We have visited Goathland before but this was the first time we’ve stayed at the Inn after hearing good things about it. It didn’t disappoint. The staff are fantastic and it’s got a real homely feel to it. It was the perfect place to spend some family time and a night relaxing and enjoying being able to get out again. You can see they are working really hard to improve things like the Rooms, which are already better than some places I’ve stayed, and after so long closed you really couldn’t fault anything about the place. From the warm welcome from the lovely Lillian, to the attentive and friendly dinner service from Nicola, the Inn really do go above and beyond to make your stay happy enjoyable. All the while they do it with a smile on their face and nothing is too much trouble despite what we could see was a busy and challenging weekend for them. The food was excellent both at breakfast and dinner and there’s plenty of space to sit and relax They have also added little protection packs to the rooms, alongside the existing amenities which come in very handy. I couldn’t recommend this place enough if you happen to be going that way. Best wishes to you all and I’m sure we’ll be back! More
A warm welcome offered to us on our arrival, made to feel comfortable and special. Our room was beyond our expectations, newly refurbished and huge, beautiful decor, vast array of cupboards and wardrobes, beverage tray made up with local produce. The location of the hotel is central to all the main attractions we wanted to visit. The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable in recommending places to go, eat,shop walk etc.The local shops sold everything you could possibly want. The food was fabulous. ( best scallops I've ever eaten).
